Seriously think he need to invest in one amazing & one very good striker. If we could get a seasoned pro for the latter, maybe a bit older with not long left on his contract, that'd mean we could push the boat out more for our new main man.
I lost all respect for Borini when he bought his sister lingerie.

We definitely need some experience and leaders. All the talk of Lacazette, Depay, De Bryune, Martinez etc as much as it would be amazing.... IMO we just don't stand a hope in hell getting any of them. Too much competition and we'll be priced out of it.

The scouts are going to have to earn their wages this summer that's for sure. Talent off the radar, free transfers .... have to be spot on.

Origi's head may be elsewhere. He had a decent first season, a rather impressive performance in the World Cup before taking his foot off the gas this season. He's probably got an eye on us and has been operating below-par as to not cause himself a mischief.

      Or he's just ****.

A loan might be one idea but given that there are so many unknowns about our forward line I would keep him here and give him chances when possible. If the others are doing well and he's not getting games maybe we consider loaning him out half way through the season.

He has not scored many goals this season, but then again he is playing for a team that has only scored 31 goals in the league to date this season and Origi has gotten 7 of those league goals.

Lille are currently a horribly defensive team who have not scored any goals at all in a third of their league games this season, and their set up makes it difficult for any striker, especially a young one still learning, to excel.

True. The will he come in January saga won't have helped that. Or as you say he might be ****. He looked so composed and well rounded at the World Cup, so I'm hopeful, but we've been stung on that score before.

Is he the new Cisse? Or the new Dioufus?

Not giving Gerrard a new contract was the right decision. Sterling has become a cancer in the squad - get rid.

We have a good squad - but we need quality throughout the spine. Centre back, midfield and striker. Three or four top quality players.

This squad and team as a whole as the last weeks of Benitez. Lots of OK players, but a lot of bang average squad filler. Buys have not been good enough. No point in bringing in players who wont improve the side.

One quality (world class) central midfielder would be a good start. Two would be awesome. Over the last two or three seasons we've failed to control the midfield area.

I hope the club thinks twice before handing out anymore contract extensions.

The lack of power in the middle of the park just looks so embarrassing - seeing Allen trying to battle Benteke when he dropped deeper looked more like men v boys. We need more power in the engine room and at least one world class striker. But seeing as if we don't even chase world class players, I'm not holding my breath.

Ashley Williams, James Milner and Danny Ings arriving pretty much guarantees Rodgers is out as they just won't make the impact required for us.

even if we get another manager in he will still have to work with these chumps.

are there any top managers who have a CV that includes turd polishing.
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.
