We are takling about a manager who complains about not having enough coaching time when we were playing in europe the first time. The best part is once we were out he couldnt use that excuse to explain the performances.

also tried making a joke about the 'new defensive coach' when the back three started to work and we had a few good results.
where is the defensive coach now, eh
he loves to polish his own helmet, bow down before him and bask in his glory
removing all the weak links makes us stronger
too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more.
Does anyone here think the Stoke result will make any difference? I'm an optimistic guy but I just don't see us getting a result. Just so powder puff everywhere on the pitch.
I think if we won 3 or 4 nil with a great performance, it could be a result to save his job. Otherwise, surely he'll be sacked now? Failed on every front this season.
I think it could. If we lose or draw then the two clubs below us could jump ahead if results go their way.
Two 7th place finishes out of three seasons might be enough to convince FSG that the middle season was an anomaly.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.
Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness
There were times when we looked brilliant and we held our own against Chelsea but we've had a clueless defence for 3 seasons and a porous midfield. That's just incompetence.
We need to make a statement starting with the structure of the management, scouting and executives. I don't care if we lounge next season as long as real foundations are put in place for the following one.
We need to show we're building something world class here and not just "We're Liverpool". It means little to most players now.

Thank god, been on the edge of me seat waiting for it
How does firiring Rodgers make a statement? Just curious as to how people see that. It could be seen as a signal that any player coming here will be part of a new 3 year plan before achieving something, rather than a go with a manager that's established some sort of core and ideas?

He seriously makes me cringe. All our previous manages, bat hodgson cause hes ****, I could list maybe 1-2 things they did that made me twitch. Rodgers I can bring up an arm length of rubbish. I just dont want it.

It depends on who the new manager would be. Swansea hire managers based on their ideal way of playing football. There's no talk of starting afresh there every time a manager leaves. It's all about finding someone to carry on the legacy, and evolve or tweak it.
