Will be brilliant when he finally scores , totally deserves it after his work to get back after 2 injuries

No matter who i want to see signed , this would make my day

Same as seeing Robertson make it , don't have to spend 50 million all the time.

I dont rate Solanke but I think Ings could well be effective in a Klopp side

I can’t see a first team future for either of them, unless it all goes Bodgeson in the next year....

Ings does have the attributes to be effective in a Klopp side. I would've preferred him to go out on loan, get regular football, goals, and come back next season.

He's been out for such a long time, and he's had 6 months of U23 football. Maybe Klopp wants to keep him around and manage him, rather than risk sending him on loan and causing another injury due to the type of training.

Klopp seems to really like him. And Klopp seems to excel at getting the most out of players, especially those with the right attitude.

He started reasonably with us as well didn’t he? Scored in the derby that brought about the end of Brendan and has pretty much been out ever since.

Yeah, he's the archetypal Klopp forward IMO. The question mark is over quality and to be fair he's not really had a chance to show what he can do, yet.

Ings has been incredibly unlucky with injuries. He has a great attitude and is likeable. Hope he gets a chance in the first team (sub appearances).
                Another MASSIVE game

Klopp rates him above Sturridge and Origi. I think he's got the intelligence to be moulded in to a Klopp player and has a decent future here

Why was he left out the champions league squad when there was places spare and he was fit and playing for u23s. Now he's 1 injury away from leading the line.

New squad named today has Ings, VVD and Clyne replacing Sturridge, Coutinho and Flanagan

Not quite Fowler on his return, but you do feel yourself willing it to happen - it's just so deserved after all the **** luck he's had.

Yeah, agreed. Ings may not have bags of quality but he has that sort of busy tenacious style that really fits the role, and he's a half decent finisher.

Divock Origi. **** me, I'd completely forgotten he existed. I'd probably have recalled him with Studge going had the option been there.

I love Danny Ings and I'm really happy he's still here.

He's worked his arse off and deserves a second chance, his attitute is incredible really and that positivity can only bounce on to others.

I personally can't wait to see him get that goal and it will happen soon and he and all of us will be absolutely ****ing bouncing when it does!
