Point of note. We havent signed a striker under his Kloppness (Solanke doesnt count, he’s an unfinished yoof player)

        Solanke certainly isnt a striker

So pleased for him to get the opening goal today & could have had his 2nd before HT.
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

But probably the best thing to do.

Not good enough. He was when we bought him because our level was lower but now we need better to do better.

I agree with that, but we also need a competent squad. He might not be happy being a squaddie, but I'd be content enough knowing he was available from the bench.
                        Really?

He is (and to be honest always was going to be) a squad player, he's a decent option from the bench, yes you can say that makes him not good enough if you like, but unless we have better squad options and sufficient numbers then there is no point in selling him (the same applies to some others in the squad).
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

fair play to him for scoring but will never be good enough.. just a few more quid extra when we sell him. If he is happy to sit on the bench fair enough but do people really think that a guy that has spent over 2 years injured will be happy warming the bench? No chance, the guy will be itching for regular football and he will not get that with us.

Yeh, he probably wouldn't be happy with it.

He's still not had a full season with us, because of the injuries. I think that he would probably want at least that before making a decision, I suspect that he is the type of guy who would back himself to get himself fit this season, get a pre-season behind him and then show what he can do next year. This is probably the only shot he'll get at a top club, I don't think he'll want to give that up yet.
