I thought he was looking like he could be for the brief period of time he was fit and selected, though it was far too brief for anyone with the slightest bit of sense to really make a judgement.

Just my opinion never got the wsigning in the first place to be honest, chap has been ruined by injuries aswell. IMO he will be loaned out and then we will boost his value and sell at a later date. Again just my opinion.

how can you judge a player when he's hardly played for us ,he's had terrible luck with injuries and hardly played that doesn't make him a bad player if he could get back to doing what he was doing before his injuries his style would suit us perfectly his pressing from the front was good his fitness levels were very good and he scores goals i think that's exactly what we need

He had one good season and that was in Burnley's promotion year in the Championship, and he joined Liverpool after one okayish season in the PL (11 goals in 37 games). He never had the CV to play for us. Now he might have been great for us if he hadn't had his injury problems but I think there is more justification for thinking the opposite.

Ah yes but you don't know that for certain nobody does, so to write someone off who's been injured just because they have been injured is stupid, only time will tell and maybe i'll be proved wrong but lets at least see how he go's before writing him off

I've not written him off simply because he's injured. I've written him off because I don't think he was very good to begin with, and he's been injured.
