We disagree on a few things, Perky, well a hell of a lot of things really if we include politics, health, Dublin not being a kip, footy, life in general, brekkie roll fillings, Dublin not being a kip, and about a hundred other things, but a prick you are not, and you are pretty straight forward in saying what you think which is pretty easy to go along with regardless of whether what you say is wrong and what I say is right

Is it a big call though? Before his last injury he was 2nd choice after VVD.

Injury free he has the ability to compete with Matip or Kinate for a starting berth.

Think we are very lucky in that we have VVD and then three guys that if all are fit, all are good enough to be a starter.

We don't really have a 3rd or 4th choice in terms of quality, we have VVD and then three guys who are 2nd choice CB level.

Am trying to think of another team at the top level with that sort of depth of quality at CB and cannot think of a single team that comes close.

Big call? He was first choice partner for Virgil before his injury lay off.

Hey I hope he can reproduce the form that he showed before his injury but at this stage I still see him as forth choice. It’s not a gulf in class between him & Ibou or Joel but only time will tell where Klopp sees him at this stage.

Think he showed enough towards the end of the season to show he was back to full fitness and that he had lost none of his pace and strength tbh. Bodes well for the coming season.

Yeah he’s been known to switch off at times , but which defender hasn’t to be fair. His pace gets him out of trouble most of the time.

Do not think he switches off any more than any other top CB tbh.

Take VVD out of the mix and I think Joe stacks up well against any CB in the league.
