Back when 5live used to go really loud then you couldn't hear it then back to being really loud and losing signal again ha ha!

Yeah, we should be favored in normal circumstances but I wouldn't say it's straightforward. EL qualifying probably hurt them in the league and they had some semi-tricky away ties at the start of the year (St Etienne, Lille, PSG). And they did manage to draw with PSG 2-2, which is sort of impressive even if Trapp hilariously gifted them both goals.

Khazri and Saivet are really the only two individual talents in the squad, both attacking mids. Khazri's got 3 in 4 this year, he'll end up somewhere better in the next year or two. We were supposedly interested in Rolan last summer but he's a bit ****. Sertic and Plasil are both out so they're weak in midfield at the moment. Not a great side but they'll finish upper mid-table in that league. Given our current form I wouldn't be surprised if they trouble us.

Thanks for that. I reckon 0-0.

Blimey Slinky I'm going back several centuries prior to 5live. Think it was Radio 2 on long wave and a wavelength of 1500 metres rings a bell, not that I ever knew what that meant other than how far to turn the dial

I'm expecting a robust, smooth opposition with a hint of caramalised fear, an overwhelming background of meh and an hateful bitter aftertaste.

I'd like us to play Origi, possibly alongside Benteke. Origi could be the missing ingredient or he might be rubbish.

I fear what's going on in Rodgers mind. I've no idea what he's going to do but I'm fairly confident it won't work.

I truthfully don't care and I hate that. We're **** and Rodgers seems devoid of clear ideas.

I believe Bordeaux can play a bit they just held PSG to a 2-2 ... this could be a trainwreck

I never want us to lose but unless we can perform like we did against Arsenal, then I won't care as it moves closer to a new manager.

They'll stuff us 4-1 and Godgers will get the boot.

                        I hope

It does feel like he is on the edge ... By the end of the week, if he does not register 2 wins .... the wheels will be in motion i feel ... he gets back to back wins he has bought himself a small amount of time

The Claret will flow if we lose to Bordeaux

That's my take as well, at least a draw and a win. But Norwich can play and will believe they can score against us, so it'll be tougher than usual.

Milner had his best season playing behind the striker at Villa. Personally I think we need to field a strong side and try to find a consistent line up.
