I can't see how Sturridge is ever going to get a game for Liverpool in this ridiculous system Brendan insists on. He is a central striker, but I can see the manager insisting on him playing off the left. He won't want to do that.

Having little confidence in us getting anything out of any game in the league at the moment, this dwindles to zero in Europe.

Terrible really, but i can't be arsed with the Europa right now, not because i wouldn't like to win the thing, but because i know we wont, and it's just more time spent treading water, waiting for the inevitable.

If we're to waste another season, then lets do it by being in transition, a new manager settling in, getting to know a new squad, who'll stay and who go, all looking ahead to a new start next season with a decent transfer kitty.

While there are decent candidates available.

Usually the great thing about football is there's always another game to put a bad one behind you. Right now though I'm dreading every game as I don't see how it gets better. How much of this season will we waste before the needful finally gets done.

I think we'll win this, as I don't believe the current set-up value the Europa League as much as they should. No pressure in an away group game.

One thing that will be interesting is what team Rodgers will send out. If he sends out the first team for me it will indicate that he is feeling the pressure and is desperate for a win to try and turn it around.

No we didn't take it seriously at all

It will be good for the team to gel more and perhaps try different plays and formations. Rodgers might stumble on a formation that works like he did in the 2013 season by pure good fortune
