I would assume Bogdan will start these are usually the games we give a backup keeper again and I would just like to say I feel sorry for him because it will be a backup side which means the likely centre back will include Toure and Lovren

I think we need to give Origi, Firmino and Lallana games as they could really do with building some confidence but who knows what will happen or what system we will play

Rodgers: please pick a formation that you intend to use for the foreseeable. Then try the fringe players in that formation and see if they can earn a place in the team.

I think he actually did that against Bordeaux and he was rewarded with good performances from Sakho and Moreno. Had he actually gone two up top that game with Ings & Origi one of them might have shown they were ready to start today.

I think he will stick with a similar formation, a back 3 and wingbacks. Not sure what we do in midfield or if we can spare a couple of strikers
