Balance wise There isn't a system out there we could play due to this squad being so horribly lopsided in quality in certain areas.

Rodgers should've stuck with the diamond and signed players to suit it as soon as Suarez left. Had we done so Sterling would still be here.

Nothing to be gained by running the mouth off like some kind of unstoppable moron. He's adopting an 'aggressive' defensive posture, which probably comes natural to him, but rarely is it reciprocated with congeniality by those you feel are against you.

I'd argue its the exact opposite - Rodgers designed this needless system. No one is missing to have made 3-4-1-2 (ish) necessary and playing three central defenders with a DM does not apparently offer any greater protection than two with a DM sat in front.

I mean enforced as in he's used it before and it worked to a certain extent, he's under pressure and hes gone back to something he feels comfortable with.

The squad to me screams 442 but he seems determined not to play it.

We have 1 wide player Ibe
We have 3 attacking players who are all better suited centrally
We only have 1 out and put holding player
4 central midfielders
1 genuine rightback
1 genuine leftback
At least 4 centre gales

It's all over the gaff in my mind

So as I said the balance is not right for a 433 for other formations there is certainly more than enough to work with.

Your listing of players and how they might line up is very rigid and seem to lean towards one style of setting a side up.

Completly his own doing but as you say it doesn't mean it's unbalanced
