Delighted with the win, but it was a ****e Villa who've now lost 5 out of 7 in the league. Win against Everton playing like that & there'll be a discussion worth having.Originally posted by Alex View PostWhat he says is fair, if a little odd.
He probably shouldn't bother, but this is hardly something to care about.
Especially after 3 points and 2 goals from Sturridge. Why do people not care about that?
What Rodgers needs to do is just say he'll let the results do the talking and leave it at that.Forwards.......

Well home from game after a few beers
Still a bit meh, yeah we won. Some positives but on the whole it was a very flat games move the ball too slowly, no penetration...the only differences being Sturridge took two great goals(btw apart from that he was well of the pace imo), and the fact villa were dreadful and just didn't get in our faces
Another telling thing, the atmosphere was as dead as I can ever remember, the crowd just seemed to sit there waiting to go home
and I'll throw in, very very telling that there was no support shown for Rodgers
I think it's a case of when not if he will be sackedi own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do

Some really disingenuous comments from Rodgers in that press conference.
He makes out that it's only been a couple of defeats over a short period. When of course it's actually a catalog of listless performances, poor results and embarrassing defeats over the past year thats caused the 'hysteria'.Last edited by Mark79; 26-09-15, 10:01 PM..

Was a good game and we were a hell of a lot better than of late.Originally posted by SB View PostDidn't watch the match but interested to hear what formation we lined up with.
Report I read said Milner enjoyed playing further up the pitch which led me to believe we only played Lucas in front of the back 3?
Was it 3322?
Milner started a bit further up but he played centrally as did Coutinho. Certainly didn't seem to play further up.
Lucas was Lucas, sat very deep protecting Moreno who got caught out of position a lot but was great at attacking down the left.
On the flip side of this Clyne didn't attack down the right so much but looked far more accomplished in defence.
As for formation **** knows, someone else can answer that ha ha!Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."

Always, keep your face to the sun, and shadows will fall behind you.
