This is a huge rebuild job for Klopp and no one in that team should feel they have a secure future. We are just full of too many mentally weak average run if the mill ****e

I thought we played quite well and controlled the game for the most part, the problem is that we lack a cutting edge - we have no-one who can put the ball in the net, and that's really where it counts.

Despite all the decent play we had you could see something like that coming, if you don't take your chances that's what happens. We really need to bring someone in who can score goals.

Absolutely battered them and lose to their only shot on target, something I said was likely at half time. Spend all our money and getting top class players in both boxes and we'll be miles better, the rest of the areas lacking can wait.

Disappointed with the subs made and when he made them, and this Caulker up front **** is ridiculous.

I think Lallana has a place in the squad. Can't have a front 6 with only one player who could at all be described as a goal threat (Firmino) though and expect to win many games.

I know it is part of a pattern but in specific I think the goal was good play by Fellaini and Rooney more than a product of our bad play/decisions.

4 players went up to challenge Fellaini, IMO that is not good play.. it's amateur hour.

Need to some pace defo, someone who can put the ball in the net and someone other than Coutinho who can create.

Also think Can needs a rest, he's becoming a proper mixed bag at the moment.

So that's it for the season as far as the league goes. Really depressing mid January, but unless significant reinforcements are introduced in midfield and attack it's impossible to see us gaining 8 points on those above us! Well Europe League is still there but...

Hope at least we can do some stuff in the cups. Klopp have some job ahead of him!

Every single player in that team is dreadful at shooting accurately. Firmino's effort against Arsenal aside, our goals:shots ratio must be utter turd. Professional footballers who can't shoot properly. Beyond belief...

Yep, that is piss poor by anybody's standard.

A decent keeper and a top class striker and were knocking on the top 4 door. a really good midfielder and wide player gets you top 3.

David de gea proved last season that having a **** defence doesn't stop you qualifying for the champions league.

I'm seeing no improvement under Klopp unfortunately. Rodgers would've been crucified bringing in someone like Caulker and then playing up front.

Early days and I believe he will bring us some success, but I have to be honest and say I thought he'd turn things around quickly. Don't get me wrong, I didn't expect us to be challenging for the top (although this season with Leicester sitting there, there's no reason why not) but I did expect him to get us playing with a lot more than this. His win rate is pretty atrocious, I half expected there to be a big honeymoon period, but as it is, its much of the same.

Sad fact is that only 3 player in the starting 11 have scored PL goals this season:

                            Firmino 3
                            Milner 2 (1 pen)
                            Henderson 1

6 goals in total, 5 from open play from 22 matches

I said exactly the same thing to my mate, it was bloody piss poor defending.

This and a lack of leaders on the pitch and in the squad generally.

Sakho is and should be captain, Kolo has won trophies, captained City under Hughes and you can see he has a bit about him.

After that we have **** all.
