As much stick as our defence gets our attacking players put a lot of pressure on us today, we've 'looked good' in the build up but we've needed a pen to get through.

Made up to be in the next round, we got Sturridge off after 65 minutes and gave Coutinho a 20 minute rest so its all positive it terms of the outcome but there is a hell of a lot we can and need to improve.

Hutchinson was spot on about us being a naive and to be fair braindead in central midfield, I've banged on about our game management for well over a year we aren't very smart. Something the Rafa side at its best had, close the half out and shut up shop at the end of game, not having both CM 20 yards from their goal only to be taken out the game by a punt up field.

Plenty of decent performances but I'd say nearly everyone had something lacking to turn it into a very good one.

Yup, job done, should have battered them. We actually closed a game out without looking like constant nervous wrecks. They had some moments but teams always will. We didn't gift them any by ****ting ourselves which is good.

Happy with the win but can't say I really enjoy watching us play football - we always make hard work of it.

Really thought we'd hammer them. Such a poor display against a poxy side missing 7 first teamers. A win is a win though. Really hope we can sort out that impotent finishing on the weekend. Realistically though we don't stand a snowballs chance in hell of winning the Europa, teams too strong in it.

Without doubt in all the years I've followed us this is the weakest ****test powderpuff team I've ever seen. We create **** all game after game. The keepers don't face any shots. We look pretty at times but no one takes hold of the game. It's all pass it on to the next man. It's so ****ing tedious and obvious. Our passes are so telegraphed. We just plod. Plod plod ****ing plod. It's awful. I have blamed the crowd in the past, my god they deserve their money back. Woeful. Not one player out there tonight would I give a **** if they were sold.

Some clueless, miserable tits on here who don't deserve occasions like Sunday. "Poor" and "****". Christ it wasn't great but nah, it was decent, we got the job done and should have won by more, hardly the end of the world. Some spoilt beauts "support" us.
