Without doubt in all the years I've followed us this is the weakest ****test powderpuff team I've ever seen. We create **** all game after game. The keepers don't face any shots. We look pretty at times but no one takes hold of the game. It's all pass it on to the next man. It's so ****ing tedious and obvious. Our passes are so telegraphed. We just plod. Plod plod ****ing plod. It's awful. I have blamed the crowd in the past, my god they deserve their money back. Woeful. Not one player out there tonight would I give a **** if they were sold.

The front three created some nice quick passages of play in the first half, then Coutinho got tired and he started making the wrong decisions.

The worst thing they could be accused of was fear of losing which created some nervousness in possession and a tendency to leave some space in the middle. Playing Lucas as a CB part of the problem in that regard.

Chris - you are a great LFC cheerleader, and we need people like you, but we were poor (certainly not 'decent'). Doesn't mean people aren't happy with the win - just realistic about our performance

What I took from the game is that once again, it reaffirms our lack of intelligence in the side. No thought as to slowing the game down, keep possession, and only go for the kill when Augsburg overcommit. This is why I'm in favour of a squad gutting, because teaching game intelligence at this level is a big ask.

On the plus side, there were glimpses of good interplay in the attacking areas. More games together, and it will begin to look sharper and more clinical. Origi was really bright when he came on, and Mignolet was quick to keep us in the game with that save when he rushed off his line.

I've watched us for long enough to know what is good and what isn't. If you think it's good, fair enough. Not sure what the point of bringing another member into it is. Dan has said **** all wrong in the match thread.

Yeah he was doing my head in, I like all of em but we definitely need something different and someone who can run a game. Gundogan would be nice like!

I hope it is his injury affecting him but Henderson has been proper **** for a few games. I can accept that he can't run/press as much due to his injury but his passing was shocking and his decision making worse. In fairness he wasn't the only one guilty of bad decision making, most of the midfield were at it - shoot when the pass was on. Butcher an overlap or all chase forward when we needed to kill the game.

We are through and with a bit of luck we might get an ok draw - lots of good teams but they can knock each other out also. The game at the weekend will be different as City will come at us and we can counter at pace with the wide open Wembley pitch.

We weren't ****e, but we weren't great either. We didn't deserve to lose, and we did enough to win by a few more if we'd taken our chances.

We will need to improve a lot if we want to win it though. Anyway, what did Kloppo say he always calls it accurately, and I think he was prettyissed off with the midfield in particular.

...I can't believe there are still 16 teams in this, tournament is way to long.
