Shafted by the ref in all fairness.

We played really well, Mane is an absolute monster and we look better with him in the team.

Milner ain't a left back I'm afraid, I'm gonna probably keep on droning about this until it gets fixed but he's been caught out positionally a few times, even Burton in mid week he sometimes got caught napping.

I get what he adds to the team but we should really be playing him further forward and just buy a semi decent left back for the spot.

I thought that the performance was good from a number of players, I thought Henderson had a good first half to 60mins but then tired a fair bit.

I thought Matip had a good game

      Mane was excellent

I'm still not sure what Wijnaldum offers though.

Milner should be left midfield, Wijnoidea ****ed off and Henderson in the middle.
        Was muß, das muß.

I've not seen ****ed Off play yet, is he good in a three?

Not sure he's as good as Dilva.

2 points dropped but the ease with which we cut spurs open was special because not many teams will do that to them. Very promising and remember were not trying to win the league just finish in the top 4. We bested spurs today away from home so that's something to hold onto. Once karius And emre Can come back into the team we will look even better.

I'm disappointed that we dropped 2 points but i would have taken one before the game.

We're still a very dangerous break away team. Henderson looked tons better. Firmino had a good game and should have had at least one other assist to his name. Matip finally tested against a big team and looked really good.
              One tit for another.

Perfectly acceptable result in the grand scheme of things, just wish Coutinho could finish his dinner!

Matip did well, looks like he'll be a handy aerial threat in attack, wasn't run off his feet on his League debut which is a good sign.

We all would have taken a point before the game so it is a good result. Just a pity the way the game went as we did in control the first 60 mins. MIlner isn't the LB option we need & Wijnaldum isn't a deep CM. Matip struggling early as Carra pointed out but improved as game went on. Mane was a beast.

4 points from Ars/Spurs away is excellent but the Burnley slip up is standard for us these days. I'm happy enough with the point today, tough place to go.

Look the difference between kloppos first game and this one is that we looked much better organised and our attack looks at a different level. We only got a point but my god there's a massive difference between what we saw today and 12 months ago.

The progress in 12 months is astounding and the results will follow on. Definitely.

Yes, 5 points from the opening 3 games would've been ok to me, 6 would've been good, 4 is only so so. As I've already said, I just see it as a continuation of our poor win rate last season.

You're looking at the points acquired, not the teams we've faced, or the fact we've been away for all three games. It's about context.

Obviously it's disappointing not to close this out after such sustained dominance - we lacked a bit of resilience in the middle of the second half which led to their goal, and equally we should have been up more than one by then anyway.

Decent result for the fixture though, and whilst all our deficiencies haven't magically evaporated this was another performance that showed progress in a number of areas.

Some encouraging individual performances, particularly from Mane and Matip given they are new to us.

I know what I'm looking at and expecting matey, we just differ on what we believe is a decent return

What do you expect from us this season in terms of league position?

I'd hope to measure us in similar terms, but you can't expect that to hold for every few fixtures you choose.

It's too small a sample to draw those sorts of conclusions from, and even leaving that aside it's not a representative sample given they were all away fixtures and two of them against top 3 teams.
