Thanjk you.

Look to draw a line under it I will admit I'm in the minority of one. Thus I'm obviously wrong and hold my hands up.
But personally I don't have an issue with hard challenges and with that you will get mistimed and late tackles. Perhaps it's just because I see footballers as overpaid Prima Donna's and don't idolise them. So if they get hurt occasionally it doesn't bother me. I know we will make similar tackles during the season.
But to confirm in today's game that will get a red more often or not whether I agree or not. Happy.
I've been watching football for just as long as you and flying in late like that on someones standing leg has always been a red
Funny how little credit our midfield seems to get, always held up as a weak point, need this, need that, need him, need a DM bla bla yet we dominate every game we play.
Solid performance after the initial manic period, we need to be able to win games like that and it being Everton (who were pretty unimaginative in the second half). Klavan particularly did an excellent job today I thought.
I know you like the rough and tumble that was a red card twenty years ago and it's a red card today if the ref gets a proper view. And the shirt pull in the first half and kicking the ball away in the second have been yellow card offenses for twenty years too.
On a pitch from 20 years ago that probably broke his ankle. I've seen worse, true, but not every tackle has to be Ben Thatcher-bad to be critical of... and it was easily as bad as the one Gerrard got sent off for after a minute for in a not that distant derby iirc. I don't believe the intent was enormously malicious but it was a badly late challenge regardless and a clear red.
As you say, even if not he should obviously have been off for two yellows.

So glad Wijnaldum played this game over Can. Kept the ball ticking over perfectly, gave Everton's pressing players nothing to sniff at. Almost rendered them useless. HUGE three points. Signs of league champions that.
Everton sacrificed every element of attacking play to just bog us down in a turgid battle and we did enough. Perfect. Makes Spurs and Man Utd's victories feel absolutely meaningless. Hahahahahaha.
Everton fan from work posted on Facebook that 'neither team deserved to win'. I was going to take the piss for such drivel but he also posted that his brother is in Berlin (one of the lucky ones who isn't injured. Feels a bit ****ty to do that now.
nice touch by Klopp to big up Firminho in his post match comments the lads having a mare at the moment......Must be going to sleep praying for Phil to be fit.
I've been singing Wijnaldum's praises for a long time! He's excellent and he will go another level when he starts scoring more regularly but his one, two touch game plays a huge part in the way we keep up pressure on opposing teams.
