Put it another way, if Arsenal finish above us then Utd will already be in fourth because of our own ****wittery. So it's irrelevant what Arsenal do other than try to stop Utd.
Agreed. Worst thing for us would be Utd or City having dead rubbers against Arse or Spurs. This would make their very tricky fixture list a lot easier.

Key game for me is Spurs hosting united on 14 May. For our sake I hope Spurs are still in the title race then.

We still have to win all our remaining games otherwise we're stuffed. The pressure is cranking up, can the players handle it?

I don't think we will do it and that's even with a few results going our way, tonight for instance potentially being one of them. We simply cannot beat the lesser teams and I can't see that changing in the next 4 games.

Add to that we leak too many silly goals, we're light up front and some of the players look knackered, plus their lack of mental strength to get us through to the end. I believe the opportunity to be gone.

Could hamper us for an awfully long time.

We aren't qualifying for the CL. I suggest people just accept it, it will make things far less stressful.

I resigned to that after the Palace defeat, and I really don't think we'll make any progress of any significance while trying to outsmart everyone in the transfer market, if we aim big we have to spend big, that's how this league works.

                        and

i had us finishing on 76pts 3 wins and a draw. the bookies still have us clear favourites and to be honest while its been a bit **** throwing away such a good opportunity most of us would have loved to have been in this position at the start of the season.

As much as its not in our hands, If we won all 4 games we would almost certainly be in the top 4 unless United win tonight.....ahh **** its not in our hands really

Come monday before the game v Watford....based on results Utd could be 3rd,3pts ahead of lfc and level on games....really looks like lfc have blown 4th spot...although it can all still change.

It's off really, top four will most certainly be Chelsea, Spurs, City and United, we should clinch fifth though.
