i do believe that out of him and ings, ings needs to go (possibly for Werner but i suspect he wouldn't want to be a squad rotation member, who knows), Dom still has time on his side...

Gabigol from inter (back on santos on loan) is a good shout, still young, still got a lot to prove in europe ala couts, worth a punt? i don't know, but by all accounts he's also fallen down the order at santos as well hahahah...what's going on with this fella?

on another note, whatever is happening with Origi?

Did this yesterday but hasn't been that great overall, though Wolfsburg are terrible this season.

Still light years ahead of Solanke. If you're young and inexperienced and you're struggling with the level of football in the PL that's all fine and understandable, but ****s sake you have to bury that chance from yesterday if you have a little bit of clutch in you!! It was his moment and he blew it, and it wasn't even the first time.

Overall he's not even bad, he has a little bit of everything, but right now there's just no end product in sight. I really hope he becomes better, but I'd like to see him go on loan to Championship next year. I just can't see a PL team that would take him as a starter.

He should be loaned out.. needs games and looks way off the standard required. Early days for him but he's not good enough for our first team squad and his lack of pace is glaring in a Klopp side. Snailanke.

As regards Ings and Origi. Imo both will be gone next season. Orig was worth a gamble and didn't work and Imo Ings was never the standard required to be a Liverpool player.

Personally I think that we made a mistake not loaning him out this season, by all accounts he barely played any football last season at Chelsea. He wasn't involved in the first team and if I remember correctly someone had said that because he wasn't signing a new contract he wasn't getting much game time in the reserves either.

He wasn't going to be regularly involved in the side here although I can see a few reasons why we wanted him around (Origi out on loan, Sturridge and Ings injured) and making him feel wanted rather than saying yes we really want you to come here, sign a contract and we'll immediately farm you out to the championship.

Given his lack of game time over the last couple of years he is effectively a 20 year old with the experience of an 18 year old. Which is why I feel people are being a little harsh in their criticism of him. But from a development perspective he should have gone out on loan this year IMO.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Although it was right for him, not sure we could have loaned him out this year due to squad depth.

Would like to see Ings and Solanke loaned out next season.

Some players develop late, Kane being the most notable. Solanke was bought for his goal scoring ability even though he's struggling to show us this yet. It's good he's had time to spend with Klopp and his coaches which will hopefully help him unlock the potential everyone saw in him.

                Exactly!

Does really need a loan. Problem is stylistically very different to Firmino, but many one striker teams have a big lump up front, so it can work as a different option when subtlety fails

If he's a 20 year old with the experience of an 18 year old, then he shouldn't be anywhere near the first team imo.

He looks like he's over 30 though ffs.

                          Yeh I agree with that.

On another note, I think Solanke will be gone in the summer. Nothing against the lad, but I think he was brought here on the premise of bringing something different to the team when we need to break down bus-parkers and also that he would be better in that role than Origi.

Sadly, not only is he no better in that role, but I'm not convinced we even need that role anymore.
                          Really?

Not a chance he'll be gone. Pretty sure the idea was to play him in the U-23's when we bought him, but because of his performance in the world cup and in preseason friendlies, he forced his way into first team plans.

I think by his mid 20's he'll be a great player, even if it isn't here.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Hope you're right, but he is like 20 or whatever and hasn't got a goal to his name (in our first team) and I just don't see how he fits into our style of play.
