Seeing him on the pitch yesterday with Crouchy reminded me of big Pete’s early form when he 1st joined us. He couldn’t buy a goal early on but when he got going they all seemed to go in.

Hopefully it’ll be the same for Dom, without waiting 18 games or whatever it was the Crouchy had to wait.

A very encouraging debut, some clever passing and should have got a 2nd assist from Mane. He was also constantly chasing down the ball. I would like to see him get more game time as he can only improve.

Really impressed with him, thought he was excellent.

He has a cracking touch, some nice skills too I've noticed - very clever on the ball for a big lad. Will be great for him to get his first goal.

Very encouraging performance last night, think it took some of the burden off Firmino who as always worked his arse off yet again last night.

Not bothered about his goal scoring right now, he's putting in a shift, learning the system, taking responsibility and contributing positively.

I'm generally not one to criticise players, particularly mid-game, but I'm really struggling to see the potential in this guy.

I'd love to be proved wrong of course.

I think he's got potential but he needs more games. At his age, he needs to be playing regularly and he's not going to get that here unless he delivers straight away.

I can see the talent though. One for the future.

It's a bit of a cliche to say he needs a goal but he does.

He shows a lot of potential in youth games but as FB said he is learning. Brewster looks a much better prospect though IMO.

He's big, strong, good in the air, can finish, works hard. All the tools are there to be a good player, we just need patience.

Agree with Labour Red, goal will make a massive difference for him.

He works hard, true. The rest of the tools though, they look a bit blunt to me.

Looks like a poor mans Divok Original so far, needs a goal to get his confidence up. That was a sitter really first half.

I’d imagine a season on loan awaits him.

he plays with more belief when hes out with englands u23 but seems to be too hesitant.
a big change up for these 'lads' from reserve and u23, need some regular proper loan football to get them first team ready.
not enough proper game time to bring them on, but how is klopp going to bring off salah, mane or bobby to allow solanke of ings enough 1st team game time so they progress...

when you see players like kane who have had about four spells out on loan, by the time he has come back he is now ready to prove himself.
