I thought we had supposedly moved away from having a formal leadership group, I thought I read that somewhere
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Bollocks to blaming Slot for that one when he was calling for the ball to be put out. That's on the players for being so braindead.
      OK, I missed that.

It also reflects on Slot's lack of leadership over the team in my opinion.

VVD was even asked about it after the game why he did not put the ball out of play, and he came out and said he kept the play going because he felt we were in control.

Peterbread put a video up in the match thread showing Slot calling for the ball to go out of play and the players just keeping it in play.

Our captain ****ed up. By keeping play going and by playing Bournemouth onside when he was the only player in our back line to not keep the line. Not to mention his poor defending for the other two Bournemouth goals.

Alisson twice had the ball and Slot was shouting at him to kick it into touch and each time it was passed back into play. So that's another senior player ****ing up when we were down to ten men.

There are things we could ask questions of Slot over, plenty of them, but the six or seven minutes to make a sub is not on him. The ball did not go out of play. Now had the ball gone out of play and we did not get a sub on, then that would have been on Slot.

Either our players wanted to ignore the manager when we were down to ten men or our players were too thick or arrogant to kick it out when we were down to ten. Regardless questions need to be asked of the senior ones for them causing us to concede a goal.

Edit: Ahh I see you did an edit to your post regarding Slot etc so the context of your post has changed. Could not be arsed deleting the above though as took enough time to type it
That's not really what happened. The sub wasn't there to come on. You can't expect players to kick the ball out when there's nobody there to come on, that's just conceding possession, and slot trying to tell them to do so was stupid on his part. By the time Endo was there and waiting to come on, we didn't touch the ball again before they scored.

It wasn't all slot specifically, but the whole dugout missed the chance to get the sub ready in time, it was very casual, unless they thought Gomez might respond to treatment but didnt, in which case it was nobody's fault and just one of those things

Yes they could have readied the sub quicker but actually he had been standing at the touch line in plenty of time for the ball to be kicked out before they scored.

That's fair, there was a period where Ali and Grav had control when the ball could have gone out. VVD didn't touch it though.

He might be needed to play as the left sided CB in a back 3

Where is this back 3 nonsense coming from?

I’m just joking and having some fun because of the Alonso talk.

I did wonder about that. Its not like Robbo wont get match time.

He has made 22 appearences this season with the same number of minutes as Frimpong and Bradley.

Also no money for a replacement

                              What a **** show.

Feels like somethings going on. With Virgil coming out saying he wants Robbo to stay also it’s all very weird.

We weren’t buying a replacement, Tsimi was supposed to come back and thd feeling is that this was being driven from the players side. I posted that because it seems like the deal was agreed in the proviso that Tsimikas was able to return but Roma didn’t agree. Maybe they asked for a nominal fee to end the loan and we said no

I’d like to think common sense kicked in and we realized letting Robbo go is just a bad idea
