I hope they meet Spain and he destroys them then laughs in Ramos’s crying face

I'd rather Ramos got a leg breaker from some fringe player and let's face it at his age that'd be that. Guy is pure scum

That's a disservice to scum, he's beneath them

Three games this world cup will be plenty enough.
I’ve been wondering why we didn’t try that in the CL final? It was only a sprain by all accounts.

Time for Hegazi to step up.

That's exactly who I was thinking of. His Pulis influence should help, not that he needs it. Up for a corner, down goes Ramos with multiple fractures to his nose. World cup over. Salah smiles in the background. Perfect.
                    One tit for another.

I recently had a shoulder sprain caused from landing on it at full speed while playing football, and I can tell you that it was one of the most painful injuries I've ever suffered. I entertained the idea of soldiering on, but there definitely wasn't a point in a Sunday league match. That being said, it really started to seize up pretty quickly and the pain ramped up to match.

I got it checked out the following day, but because I didn't break my clavicle and there only appeared to be a slight separation, the doctor referred to it as a sprain, which definitely didn’t initially sound bad. The shoulder is a pretty complex joint comprising of three bones and a good number of muscles and ligaments all converging in a single area. So, when you've sprained your shoulder from an impact like that it usually involves tearing of a number of the ligaments to varying degrees.

It's amazing how debilitating this injury is, especially if it's to your dominant arm. During the first week of recovery, the range of motion was so impacted that I couldn't put on socks or tie my shoes, and even getting a t-shirt on and off was a lesson in pain and creativity. Sleeping was the worst, as the only way to keep the joint in a similar position to having it in a sling was to lie not quite flat on my back. Easier said than done.

Anyway, to make a long story short, 10 weeks later I can still feel the pain, but the worst of it finally subsided a few weeks back. However, I couldn't stop myself from playing football again after about 3 weeks. Taking throw-ins was a no no, but other than that, it didn't feel too bad.

Mo will have proper medical attention and physical therapy, so I would imagine that his progress will be quicker than mine. However, everyone playing against him will know that he is carrying an injury. You would like to think that it wouldn't happen, but Mo will be targeted, so let's hope that the referees aren't too lenient and that VAR is used judiciously.

                        Ouch, that sounds nasty mate.
I’d love to know whether our docs asked mo if he thought he could go on with a magic jab? Didn’t Beckenbauer play out a WC game with a dislocated shoulder once? It was the CL final after all, so I’d like to think he was willing to play through the pain.

                          This is the issue.

Of course he wants to play and his country wants him to play, it's not like he's from a country guaranteed to qualify every 4 years and he'll have another chance. I completely understand that.

But he won't be 100% and another Ramos type player could aggrevate the injury and he'll be out for months.

I did locate my shoulder and I had physio but I couldn't play again for over 6 months. I could do everything else after a few weeks but the doctor warned me if I went back too soon and took another knock it was going to be a hell of a lot longer before I played again.

My shoulder still hurts sometimes when I lie on it after about 18 months.

I'm worried we won't have Salah for the first couple of months of the season at least if he plays in the world cup, which I'm sure he will do.

Just hope they don't risk him against Russia, they won't hesitate to take him out. Save him for the game against Saudi if it's a must win to pass to the knock out stage.

That's nothing, I can locate mine at any time. Trick is to follow the arm up.

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

My hope is Egypt's last game is a dead rubber and he doesn't play. I'm selfish about internationals I don't care for any of our players playing in them. That's why Bailey is edging towards my forward back up plan.
