Well yes, other than the fact I started my post saying that in no way would I want the sell Salah, yes yes I am selling Salah.

I don't even sell the fecker on Fifa (Mane and Firmino get sacrificed instead ) and I keep him until he retires.

In the summer he'll have 1 year left on his contract, if we haven't renewed it how much would we get for him?
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

One Martinez, one Barella, one Nkunku, one covered in meat pizza and a bottle of 27 year old Redbreast.

            That’s great.

He’s such a lovely fella, very humble and unassuming but clearly incredibly driven. Love how he apologetically backs himself every time.

One thing with Salah, as there are some intangibles at play here, which I am sure the club are aware of. He is on track to being one of the most prolific strikers in the history of the club. He will go past Michael Owen, Gerrard, Dalglish and Fowler in 30 goals time.

              He has also delivered trophies.

We tried to replace the sum of the parts with multiple signings when Suarez left - so we know how hard that is. A signing like Salah is pure alchemy. The only guarantee is we will not replace it if we try to. There are so many elements at play in a signing like this coming off.

I am sure the ****ing nano-geek stat boys at the club are all over this, but letting someone like Salah leave in the prime of his career, with the form that he is in and with a view to his standing in the overall history of the club just cannot be an option.
I have a very similar jacket to that 2nd pic, I would normally wear Jeans, Shirt, Trainers or Shoes dependant on location but i have never thought " I know what would look good with this Joggers in socks"

He may not be as effect… but we definitely won’t be as effective, if he leaves.

I agree that Liverpool suits him, but would take little consolation in seeing him flop elsewhere, cos I could see him challenging for the golden boot with us for the next 4/5 years easily.

Why not? Looking at how much the likes of Keita, ox, Milner, Thiago, hendo etc are on, Mo should definitely be looking at 400 if not more.

Since his last contract was signed, he’s gotten better and the rest of the attack has gotten worse (except the addition of Jota), why shouldn’t he want a bigger slice of the pie.

Also look at his global appeal. These days, kids follow players more than teams. The other day I was playing fifa online against PSG and no joke, the guys username was “Barca4Life”. Salah is our Messi. It’s only a matter of time til he wins a Ballon dor, and that will only be a good thing commercially for us too.

Honestly, if we don’t give him the contract he deserves as literally one of the best players (if not the best) in the world right now then we are an embarrassment of a club.

Regardless of the debate over whether footballers earn too much etc etc, if we look at what players earn at the State/oil backed clubs and then factor that into what the bst in the world should earn, we simply could not afford to pay that or more likey could not afford to pay the increases the rest of the big earners in the squad would then want.

Salah is the best in the world imo, Salah as such should be the highest paid in the squad, however I think he would need to factor in the fact that we are not as wealthy as the State owned/oil backed clubs into his own demands and either ask for a more realistic base wage or agree to something that is incentive based (goals scored, wins, silverware etc) but comes with the potential for a much higher salary.

But paying him as high as the highest paid in the world we cannot do as we would end up becoming like Barca and where their ever increasing wages led them.
