He does blow hot and cold - he's provided a few assists without scoring recently, but he's definitely nowhere near the 2018-20 Mo Salah form-wise.

Looks tired and he doesn't even seem to have the same selfish urgency about scoring and taking the golden boot. It's like he's quite relaxed about everything for some reason and that spark is what's missing. Don't think he's been 'bad bad' just not on it, which is different. He's lost possession more than usual, run down blind alleys, failed to find a man, cant beat a defender... all the stuff he used to do somehow with the ball stuck to his boot like velcro.

Might be the first signs of age creeping up on him, might just be in a poor vein of form. Either way, I'd bench him for Villa and give the other lads a run out. Like others have said, he should have been benched long before now based on current performances...

I just hope to **** he finds some form going into the finals... he said he wants revenge, well he needs to regain his form to succeed.

Seems like it. People say he needs resting, but I think he should be playing against Villa, Southampton, wolves and step aside for the finals. Might be a useful element of surprise too.

I fear it will be another repeat of the League Cup final if he plays in the FA Cup final - another total domination job from Rudiger. The only sniff Salah got was when he fluffed a chance on the opposite flank after a late break. Other than that Rudiger completely snuffed him out.

...now that would be an awesome way for him to sign off the season. A couple against Villa, Soton and Wolves would be mighty useful too.. and help him secure his Golden Boot.

Because he's looked pretty average for months now. I hope he gets it sorted and scores the goals that bring the trophies home.

At some point form reaches a point where you just have to say enough is enough and see if you can get a transfer fee out of a Bournemouth or Aston Villa forum for him.



Salah on the other hand is grand and will probably buy a new hat soon.

Salah deserves his rest today. And the others deserve their starts. I am definitely glad to see this happen, and suspect Salah will benefit. After the Afcon he just could t play every game.
