I think we guys like Salah and Mane they do (did in the case of the latter) love the club and are happy to stay, but unlike a lot of players a massive pay hike for a Salah or Mane means them being able to pump more money into the projects they have going in their home countries too.
If a club like PSG offered Salah say 600k a week after taxes, for Salah that could mean being able to double what he could put away for projects etc.
For me that would be why Salah might leave. As for why a rich sports wash club like PSG would want Salah, well not hard to figure out why a clean cut highly marketable player, argubly the highest profile muslim footballer on the planet, who is also still a top tier player would interest a Qatari owned club.
I in no way want Salah to be sold, but have a sneaky feeling it might well happen if a bid well north of 100m came in and it was from a non PL club that he was open to joining.
And as to your last line, commented on that in reply to one of your other posts but yes I see that as the reaction of a winner whose competive ego has been hurt by what he deems utter failure and that sort of person will want to prove any perceived failures as having been flukes.
He is with us after next summer, then I expect his already good goal and assist tally from this season to rise sharply.
Though to put Salah's "crap" season in a bit of context. He is on 19 league goals with the potential of breaking into the 20s today. Michael Owen, who is regarded by many as one of our best strikers, never scored more than 19 league goals in a season.
Salah scores today and that will make it five out of six seasons with us in which he scored 20 or more league goal, his other "low" season being a 19 league goal one in 2019/20.
You feed chances to Salah and he is still very much the sharp end of the spear.

He seems really loyal to me, he genuinely seems to love the club and want to break every possible record. He has never once agitated for a move, he is always fit. Bangs in 20-30 goals every season.
