He is not worth more than 350k a week. That would be madness.
His pace has completely gone it would seem. Saying that, he might work in the middle if we can get someone else with pace and finishing. Or even swap him with Nunez.
I would still take 100 next summer. I think we have to be prudent. Be interesting to see where we are financially speaking, with no CL. We have spent a reasonable sum, but must have reduced wages. In the beginning, Fowler created the Heaven and the Earth.

Correct. 30th June 2025.Originally posted by SB View PostDoes he have 2 years left on his current deal?
A 2 year extension at the same weekly salary with options to extend would make sense. Adding in an obscene buy out clause (£500m) should keep even the Saudis quiet for a couple of years. Include confidentiality and timing clauses to the buy out so if they do come knocking, we have the time and space to spend it wisely without being fleeced on replacement prices cos the world knows we are flush. We are here for a good time not a long time....

He'll go next summer and fund the next chapter.
Maybe, or maybe he’ll wait a year land go on a free?
I’m hoping Hendo and all the others who took the cash to play in front of 950 fans serves as a reminder that the grass isn’t always greener on the other side & that he can still play over there for stupid money when he isn’t fit enough for the Prem.

Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

Mohamed Salah’s contract at Liverpool is the catalyst for him to earn at least £1m a week in total income, his lawyer and adviser has indicated. Ramy Abbas Issa told a Harvard Business School (HBS) study, seen by the Guardian, that would be a “conservative” expectation of what the forward makes.
How much Liverpool are paying Salah is unclear from the study. Club sources believe he earns more from third parties, such as his commercial tie-ups with Adidas, the Bank of Alexandria in Egypt, PepsiCo, Gucci and the real estate brand Mountain View.
