Yep I agree with you both.
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

The one on 50 seconds is ridiculous. Taken first touch, dissecting the entire defence to his feet

Perhaps he may have realised passing quite often a better option for him now.

Going to be interesting seeing how he develops through the season. Old salah was bit stale and for the right saudi money replaceable. The new one however..

30 goals and 16 assists across all comps last season.

I'd take a few more stale Salah type players with those numbers!

He will need replacing at some point but he's got a season or two left in him at PL level

Thanks for helping me realise I was talking ****e

Er.. what I meant was he looked to be on the decline without the same pace.. but way he's now playing he doesn't need the pace.

Yeah that's it, that was my point

Nah I get your point but he does still contribute so much to us, think we've been a little spoiled with how good he has been over the years.

I'm hoping we continue to more of a spread from the team in terms of goals, assists and general contribution, the new midfield is already helping with that.

The top clubs don't sell their top players. If Mo wants to leave to chase the Saudi dollar, then let him go
As there is no player bigger than the club. However, if he wants to stay, then I'd keep him for another seasons to be honest. I think he can transform into a brilliant #10.

In reality the top clubs keep their best players until theu don't need them any more. United kept giggs and played him as a squad playing central midfielder for a few years towards the end of his time. We should do something similar with Mo Salah

There really is no bad option when it comes to Mo.

If he wants to leave with 12 to 18 months left on his contract then we get a fee that is bigger than what most players being sold at the same age would bring in.

If he decides to see out his contract and leave on a free, then we get a brilliant player for the next 18 months and have 18 months to bring in a replacement.

He decides to stay longer with us, we get a game changer for longer.

Everyone will give him loads of **** if he sees his contract out.

I dont think he wants Saudi footy yet, it looks rubbish he is still second top scorer in the PL and top for assists - so he is delivering at the top level. Look at all of the other forwards, they all have their strengths but none of them consistently finds the back of the net, or an assist as readily as Salah.

I think we need to extend his contract.

I think he will stay so long as we are still in contention for the league in Jan.

Next Summer I think will be when he's most likely to leave.

Some might but I imagine most would be of the opinion that we got his best years and that he delivered for us every season he was here.

He has gotten well paid and we have gotten great value for money at the same time over the duration of his time for us.

No matter which option he takes, he eventually leaves as one of our greats for me.

If he walked out at 33, To a mega money contract few would begrudge him.

I imagine we will leave it till next Christmas, If he is still producing at top level week in, Week out I think he will sign a contract extension for 1/2 years and then **** off to Saudi when he is clapped out and still score bucketloads over there

For me it cones down to what we can do with the 100m next summer.

IF we have a better option, then we should probably take it, as we may not have it available the following summer. Equally if nothing is available, I am happy for him to leave on a free.

I think he has a good few elite level years left in him.

He can then go and rake in the crazy cash in whatever the Saudi league looks like in his late 30's.
