I’m enjoying this season and liking the use of the squad and younger players and feel there is more to discuss. Also because I’m in England now it’s easier to watch most games time wise and get into the discussion right after.

No holidays, I look after my dad so I’m home a bit. Also enjoy my late nights when it’s quieter.

You’ve got to enjoy this. It might not lead to the trophies we want, but at least we are in the mix. That’s what it’s all about.

When Klopp leaves, the empire crumbles and we are where Man U are that’s the purgatory, the fan base becomes toxic. That’s when it gets grim. Thats when it’s worth a moan.

Sport is something we have so much emotional energy input into something we have absolutely zero control over. For me I try to enjoy the ride - enjoy the individual matches as sporting events out of context and then as a season progresses excitement either builds or dissipates.

We had 25 years before Klopp where we had the occasional title challenge, but much of the time we were just battling for top 4 in a situation that's not too different from where Man Utd are now. If you don't enjoy what we're doing now in this era not really sure what the point is.

Top of the league in January and in three cup comps. Can never be put out about being in the hunt for silverware like we are.


Hell even when the cycle goes around and we reach a point where we are on our downers again looking up at other teams chasing the silverware we can still dream about when, not if, we get in the right manager and players again that begins our climb back into the mix.


We are very much an organic club and as such have to have growth cycles.


Plus a few lean years always makes the highs that eventually follow feel that bit more epic.

If we lose the PL by a point this season I'm heading to yours for a month long summer camp.

I'm not saying I don't get frustrated. I just try and focus on the positives and enjoy the sport. I am not going to let it negatively hinder my mood or positivity that things in general are good, and we are watching a team capable of challenging.

I think for sanity's sake a lot of people prefer to say or throw in a 'its not going to happen' as soon as possible, therefor removing the pain, or enabling them to say I told you so if we fall short.

I see less enjoyment in that route, it means you are looking for conformation bias in negatives constantly and ignoring all positives. I'd rather say, why the **** not, enjoy the ride and then see where we get to.

Hopefully we’ve got the infrastructure and the right approach that whoever comes in next can still carry on where Klopp leaves us. He is a special manager and can’t be replaced but with the club run in the correct way the next guy in has it a lot easier to build something special of his own.
