Imagine the number of players that could have that headline written about them?

Forwards with 4 or 5 goals this season. Hojland? Zirkzee? Or say a big money wide player, Grealish, Sancho… Jarod Bowen only had 5 goals this season… Son 7… Cole Palmer had barely contributed since the turn of the year…

    BBC clickbait.

Was chatting with an arsenal fan (from Ireland) last night.
We discussed the likelihood of trent going. I said I'd prefer him to go rather than be stuck with him on massive money and be untransferable, and his defending being almost completely reliant on a fit konate.

We also speculated about salah going...
I said we have obviously been too over reliant on his goals and assists, but it becomes easier for teams to double up on him and snuff out our main attack threat.
If he was to go and we got ekitike and cherki it would restore a better balance maybe.

        And Virgil must stay.

His form drops like this every season, doesnt it?
In the beginning, Fowler created the Heaven and the Earth.

The team is stuttering due to the psg games. He's one of many not fully firing.

The Everton result will have settled some nerves and rebuilt confidence, I expect the team and Mo to come back strong tomorrow.

Seems too, always seemed to be the case that Salah started the season strongly and Mane finished strongly in terms of goal scoring
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Teams are only leaving 1 player on him and he still cant get around them.

I'd withdraw the contract offer now and revise it to a much lower Offer...

Well Mo is certainly losing a lot of leverage recently....

Copied from the wh match thread, as it's relevant to salah.

The shorter pass to mo will often see him get pressed by the defender, but we know that's going to happen. So mo let's the defender chase him back towards our goal for 5-10 yards then he plays the ball back to who passed and he can then sprint into the space vacated by the defender and get a return pass to run onto.
Trouble is, teams have seen this all year and now don't chase him back too far and concede the space.

It is a very valid point, but I think moreso in how it highlights that we (coaching staff and especially other players in the moment on the pitch) are taking the "safe" or the "pass the buck" option far too often and expecting Salah to have the pace of four or five years ago than other players feinting that pass to Mo and instead switching the play to the other flank or to a runner through the centre.

Do fully expect a big change in our set up after the summer and expect far more of our play (compared to now that is and regardless of whether Mo stays or leaves) to go through the central channels. Think our attacking build up play and midfield advancement play will become far more rounded and less one player centric.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.
