Every time I mention salah being poor the reaction is hostile.
Playing the inverted winger has had its day.
Salah is sitting out in no man's land, once the ball threatens to go out to him the defenders can double up. Salah then does his little dance around, takes enough time to bake a cake, by the time he even considers making a move we have lost any attacking momentum and everyone has gone stationary.
Salah has been a phenomenon, but it was clear that he was losing his sparkle towards the end of last season. We couldn't sell him as we didn't have anyone else to take on the burden, and if we sold him then it may have been harder to attract top players!
He's definitely got to go at the end of the season. Cash in while there is still some meat on the bone.removing all the weak links makes us stronger
too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

His assist for Grav last week was awesome, and he still has that in his locker, but his contribution over 90 mins is not good enough. And this is the part of the season when Mo usually does his best work. Today, it looked like we tried to get Bradley and Frimpong overlapping and salah moved slightly in field, but in a tight game with a crowded defence, he was easily marked and couldn't effect the game at all. He can no longer dribble for ****, he can't run to the by-line on the outside and cross, and he's been relieved of his defensive duties, which is putting pressure on the rest of that side defensively and leaving us more vulnerable to the counter attack. This makes him worse than ineffective, it makes him a problem. I've said it a number of times, but he should be a game changer from the bench, when we need to roll the dice on a moment of brilliance.Last edited by Kenneth; 27-09-25, 07:50 PM.Trey Nyoni: countdown to stardom-2 years1year0.5 years

I think that’s it in a nutshell, he is still capable of brilliance but in this league you cannot afford to carry passengers for 85 mins. He can still have a huge impact, but he needs bench time. The problem is who takes his place, Freddi looks better on the left, Frimpong is playing like a schoolboy who’s all christmases came at once after getting a LFC contract.Originally posted by Kenneth View Posthis contribution over 90 mins is not good enough.

So lots of talk or rumour that there's a clause in his contract that he can't be subbed. It may be rubbish, but if it is true then the management need to take a serious look at their lack of balls.
He's won us the title but the inability to use him more sparingly may end up costing us another. Someone mentioned in the match thread that he'd be a great 2nd half sub, totally agree that he'd look better against tired legs, in any of the front positions. But there are other options in the squad that must be tried

Absolute rubbish, not in a million years would any sane club agree to that.Originally posted by Norbs View PostSo lots of talk or rumour that there's a clause in his contract that he can't be subbed. Another insipid display from our highest earning player.
Even managed to deflect a goalbound effort"When a man insults my country I insult him, by taking his woman" Tony Yeboah
"looking through your posts since 2007 and what you have consistently written about my football team I have come to the conclusion that if you had 1 more brain cell you would be a plant .. your father was a hamster and your mother smells of elder berries, I fart in your general direction ..." Nicey

Agreed but if Chiesa has some personal matter that he needs time off for, then it might be a good chance to try Frimpong out wide.
Having that sort of raw pace out wide would be something we had not really had in a bit.I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.
