The other thing about his social media, is does he actually manage that himself or is that his agent or someone in his management team or whatever?

Because that also removes the aspect of being a bit emotional and having a bit of a social media rant like many of us might do...
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

The theory that he found out he was being pimped in january is something I believe in. Its very similar to when Alonso found out they were trying to sell him off. Although Salah hasnt said he wants to leave, which is the big thing. He said he'll be going, which is different. Came out at the end of last match and waved to the fans for a few minutes. Not the sort of behaviour someone does who is pissed and demands to leave. No doubt why the other players are liking the photo. They dont see him as some traitorous mouthy person like people here.
IF this is true, and it is quite the leap, then it makes his actions somewhat understandable, yet still horribly petulant and hugely damaging given the situation we find ourselves in this season

Just for the record, I wanted him sold last season. But I think you lot are a little too harsh on him.
This is odd though. He's played as a right sided forward his entire career, and now that he looks ****e you think its the manager's fault for playing him there?
I saw a dead fish on the pavement and thought "what did you expect?"

And it is not as though they do not get media training and what not, especially the guys at the top of the mens' game.

You eff up online as a pro footballer and it is usually deliberate despite any cries afterwards of an account being hacked/it being an error of judgement/ because of being thick or whatever. Far too many people around them for stuff to come out that is not exactly what they really mean.

Same way with Salah's interview, non playing players do not get picked to do post match interviews and even the playing ones that do the interviews go through the press officers first to decide who does or does not want to do it. So Salah's interview was very much a set up and the person that stopped him was most likely there in advance to ask him to stop.

Was listening to Asmir Begovic go through the process of how post match interviews are arranged in the Premier league and he was very clear that it is almost unheard of for a non playing player to do even a bog standard interview after a game as the club press officer would not arrange it, that the only way it could happen is if a player went to the media off their own back.

He went into a bit of detail as well with regards to what is needed for players that played to be able to go do a post match interview.
yeah and Mo and his agent have previous aswell. It's a real shame it has to end this way, all a bit pathetic but he went about this the wrong way. Whatever the grievance he thinks he has or how he was wronged etc, talk about shooting yourself in the foot with most of the fan base and destroying the legacy you build at LFC by making it all about you. I say most as there are still a good few who are backing Mo which I find bizarre but each to their own. I have mates sending me running stats of Mo which are up on last season & comparing xg etc with Saka and Mbeumo etc, Jotas mate, his role has slighltly changed, right side has changed so much and some of these things do have merit but they are twisting themselves in knots trying to make excuses for him when as simple eye test is all we need.

**** me, this season has been ****. Full on crisis mode, full on meltdown yet we are still only a few points away from 4th, it's crazy.

I had a taxi driver this morning from the Middle East supporting Mo. He said he didn’t support any team, just didn’t think it was right to treat him like that. Mo has managed the narrative and it is clear he is positioning to move to Saudi and is hopeful that he can create enough collateral damage to get Slot fired too.

That's the bit that is standing out for me over and over.

Ask someone what they mean when they say something like that and they will just parrot the line that Mo was thrown under a bus and treated badly.

Press a bit and ask what exactly do they mean by treated badly and you will get back "well the stuff Salah said"

So basically Salah has been treated badly in some way and hung out to dry in some way, but nobody seems able to say what any of those things are.

Being dropped from the team for not playing well does not come into it nor does getting £400k a week whether he plays or not.

And what is also amusing, to me anyway, is most LFC supporters have for weeks and weeks been saying Mo needs less game time until he begins to regain form. He gets a tiny bit less game time and suddenly Slot is wrong to drop him.

Guys like Gakpo, not setting the world on fire himself, has been both dropped and put on the sub's bench this season but there is no talk of him being thrown under a bus.

Chiesa hardly gets minutes despite him playing well for the most part when used, yet there is no outbursts from Fede or pics of him sitting on his own.

The one guy who has been as poor as Mo, and almost as undroppable, has been Konate and I doubt if he was on the bench for the next few games that few, if any, would be wondering if the manager was at fault for some reason.

If Slot is at fault for anything with regards to Mo, and this is of course looking at it from the outside, then it is for being too loyal to the player and not trying other players in the position sooner.

Not surprised Hughes and Edwards are trying to shift him on now. He couldn't keep up the production and we didnt lose him for free.
The case that it most clearly mirrors is Aubameyang (though without the delivery of silverware).

The one bit of context we all lacked in the run in to Virgil and SalahÂ’s contract was the fact the club was about to go large on investment. It really changed the entire dynamic around the strategy. For me, the obvious challenge was going to be managing competing interests in terms of star profile.

Current events may clear that up somewhat and if anything Salah has made the clubs job a lot easier. The worrying distraction is that all of this redirects genuine concern about how Slot has been performing.

Think that depends on how we do tonight and again at the weekend.

We go undefeated in both games, wins obvs being preferable, then suddenly we are on a five game undefeated run that also coincides with Salah being dropped.

Concerns about Slot, and there are genuine ones there imo, rest upon whether or not a prolonged run of improving form occurs or not.

Get the results right first and foremost, then performances can come into it. Ideal world you get both at the same time but points are all that matter in the short term.

One thing I can give him is at least hes still training, unlike ****ing isak who sat on his arse for months and became useful for us.

Maybe he'll trash Arne's office when he is away, push bins over etc. He is fking off. No way he can stay imo. Unless player manager

He'll need to elevate this to the next level now that he's realised the club are going along with the idea that he should leave. I don't think he's played a blinder, he's played this dreadfully

Gotta admit I would love that.

Salah to go full on scally and start robbing from the dressing room whilst the other players are on the pitch, being arsey with the canteen staff, blocking toilets, going under sink cabinets and loosening pipes slightly so they will leak gradually and make a mess.

Salah goes scally. Sounds like a ****e sit com or a crap travel show.
