The current rant is he did nothing and barely moved. This shows he did plenty of moving as he was all over the place on his side of the field, defense and attack. Trying to palm it away by saying its not open play or doesnt show marking etc is a little reaching in the whole 'he's lazy and does nothing' argument. You can not like him and still say he did something. I know thats difficult.

Are you talking to me? I’m just saying those graphics only shows his touches in open play and so actually don’t even show the full extent of his running or the ground he covered, as it doesn’t include his off the ball work.Originally posted by vlahka View PostThe current rant is he did nothing and barely moved. I was at the game, apart from a losing possession a couple of times and not looking as sharp as last season he didn’t do anything ’wrong’, he worked as hard as anyone, was always looking to break, in fact a couple of times his IQ was not matched by others around him, he looked to make runs others didn’t see. It pains me to say, the exact type of through balls Trent would have provided…

We don’t get enough ‘I was there’ reviews any more.Originally posted by kingfunk View PostI was at the game, apart from a losing possession a couple of times and not looking as sharp as last season he didn’t do anything ’wrong’, he worked as hard as anyone, was always looking to break, in fact a couple of times his IQ was not matched by others around him, he looked to make runs others didn’t see. You can’t really tell what off the ball work someone is doing when you watch on tv
One thing with Salah is when his head is clear he is a killer in front of goal - and it’s not clear right now. Seems to second guess himself at times. At his best it’s all instinct.Modifying post.

it’s a completely different experience. Overall I thought we got nervous after we scored, were a bit slow to press at times, backing off instead which lead to chances conceded, but overall I thought we done very well given the circumstances, everyone put in a shift (Salah included), link up play with Isak is not there yet. But, It was definitely an enjoyable game with lots of positives.

Not directly at you just on a whole of all the things being said. It may not show on a whole but the previous game where he was in far fewer places he was listed as having done over 9km, which was on par with what he did last season per game on average. The new game shows he was in many more areas, so its probably safe to say he did far more than 9km.Originally posted by Mark79 View PostAre you talking to me? Shows the areas he touched the ball and the frequency in each area but no actual numbers.Originally posted by Mark79 View PostIt just shows touches of the ball in open play, it doesn't show off the ball running.
So dont think it says that much tbh. He came a bit further back a few times and played more centrally in both attack and defence.
