Seriously, who are we to turn our nose up at any cup?
Anyone us free to turn their noses up at the league cup. Everyone is, because even the championship sides are resting players. Everyone knows it's ****.

Also irrespective of the cluster**** that describes our general defending we have gone back into the rhythm of having 600 million touches and going nowhere

Spot on mate and well summed up.

Down to Klopp to address this, it's going to be a long ****ing season.

Coutinho and Robertson were linking up well in the first half. Thats gone since he went off.

Once couthino went off the game swung back in Leicesters favour....Robertson very good first half....rest of the team non-existent

Okazaki killed our lleft side, stifled Robertson, scored the goal. They were always going to win after that goal

It's not very Liverpool like - we exist to win trophies etc - but we simply don't have the squad to compete in all competitions so this could do us a favour. Personally I don't care about this cup if we get fourth as a minimum this year (which will be hard enough).

Some posters were falling over themselves to put a positive spin on the squad and even the defence in the summer but they are always absent in these threads.

                    Oxlade-Chamberlain looked like his +1

You couldn't make it up hey.

That was a total dog**** performance (from what I saw in the second half).

Woodburn went so close to equalising but apart from that, we were soft and timid throughout.

The right hand side offered nothing all game.

But the performance as a team is woeful.
The performance in the first half was anything but. We lowered the quality of our team and they struggled.

is this really any different from when brendan was in charge???
Oh I say his vision there was lovely

**** that. Like Robertson, Ward and Dom though. Robertson and Ward will be dropped now.
Hopefully we can see some better performances from Klavan soon given there are apparently no available centre backs better than him in world football.

Horrible seeing the same problems everyone saw in the summer / last five years, even the ****ing manager seemed too and yet here we are in September with nothing done about them and one trophy gone already! At least we'll have some cash in the bank while the ones that spend sweep up all the silverware again.

We have to win there on Saturday but with confidence low, no Mane etc it will be hard, their first team is a bit of a style nightmare away from home for us with Vardy's pace, some big lads from set pieces etc.

We shouldn't be turning our noses up as before the game started it one of our best chances at securing silverware. It's both disappointing and disrespectful to be turning our noses up at any Cup, the club is steeped in history on cup wins.

Really ****ing annoyed, that is no progress whatsoever in any shape or form.
