Ha ha I'm not that young mate. I know that back in the day Conwy had a good team which consisted of mostly Scousers, Conwy are wank now.

Seems more Liverpudlians tend to play for some of the North East Wales teams now more than anything, they were always better players. There are some good footballers from North Wales but they're few and far between.

Yep. It is. Give Can a few games at 6, with Gini and Coutinho ahead.

On another note it's absolutely bizarre how untouchable goalkeepers are, that knee on Wijnaldum was ****ing disgusting. 6ft 5 lads are allowed to punch, kick and knee opposing players but if a midget dares to jump up v them on a corner it's a foul. So weird.

Ward looks a safer bet than either of the other two. We see it, what's the betting that's his last game for us this season. We try and be too clever. Stick him in and that's one position sorted.

Did didn't have a save to make though.

Who was it that make the rash two footed lunge on our player. Réf ignored it because it missed but I've seen red cards given for less.

solanke doesn't look ready to me. doesn't seem to be able to hold the ball or pass under pressure. also couldn't finish any of the balls robinson sent in on a plate.

Klavan is starting to give me red mist. You're by far the oldest one in the defence so ****ing organise it. A proper shout and Gomez pushes up for that goal and plays about 8 lads offside. We don't half concede some pathetic goals

As pissed off as I am with the same old **** tonight, I do think going out of this early might be a bit of a blessing in the long run. You either want to win it or, if not, go out early - no point in going deep and not winning it. Win it or **** it off.

Over 25 years ago when I was playing for them. I played for South Liverpool when I was 16 and moved to Conwy when I was 18 or 19. Then moved to Colwyn Bay but had to retire at 22 as my ankle was knackered

                      Cool!

I can't imagine the step up from kick about football to your level and then the step up from your level to Championship and beyond.

I had trials for Notts Forest and Huddersfield at 14 or 15. Clough was at the Forest trial and slaughtered me

I knew him anyway as he was a friend of a friend still didn't pull punches

The big thing is that once I quit I played a few charity matches against ex-pros and even ones you don't think are that good are generally better

Alan Kennedy was absolutely brilliant, lightning quick, strong and could jump for fun. Alan Stubbs was also exceptionally good played against him when I was at South Liverpool. David Usworth was ****e I marked him out the game when I played against him

I played against Mel Sterland once, he marked me, and he was by a country mile the most aggressive player I ever played against. An absolute animal who I thought was genuinely trying to kill me.

I would probably have liked that

Thing I remember most about Alan Kennedy was going for a header with him and his boots were at my shoulder level

I once trained with a Swedish men's team when on holiday when I was about 16.

Norkopping or something like that. They were all absolute animals compared to the gangly 16 year old I was.

Also wasn't massively comfortable getting showered afterwards
