I once played against a Russian side and they were ****ing monsters for two hours.

It was a 5 a side tournament, in Tenerife, winner got a crate of beer, and they were Russian sailors but still, monsters they were.

As pissed off as I am with the same old **** tonight, I do think going out of this early might be a bit of a blessing in the long run. You either want to win it or, if not, go out early - no point in going deep and not winning it. Win it or **** it off.

I wanted us to go out last night to be honest.

We don't have the squad to compete in all the cup competitions. I'd rather go out straight away in this and have a proper crack at the FA Cup instead.
