Looked to me like we played that game half-arsed (the first team players did anyway). Well, I guess we'll see on Saturday.

Wijnaldum and Henderson should be ****ing ashamed with their performances. If they're not up for it, they should tell the gaffer (ie. carrying a niggling injury, lack of sleep new baby etc...)

I've already said my piece on Klavan for 2 months now.

Need some players who can ****ing take a whack at that ball and bury it from outside the box.

He looked tidy but poor dives. He's well behind ***** IMHO.

If you put Mignolet in the Championship he'd be the best keeper there by a mile. Comparing him unfavourably to De Gea and Lloris etc is fair but thought last night that Ward failed to excel anywhere.

The big thing is that once I quit I played a few charity matches against ex-pros and even ones you don't think are that good are generally better

Alan Kennedy was absolutely brilliant, lightning quick, strong and could jump for fun. Alan Stubbs was also exceptionally good played against him when I was at South Liverpool. David Usworth was ****e I marked him out the game when I played against him
I played against Johnny Wark he was so small compared to when i watched him live.

Dale Gordan and Robert Fleck as well , Dale was brilliant , miles ahead of anyone else on the pitch with his touch and vision .

Also played a game once against this fella who i chased for the entire 90 minutes and didnt get anywhere near him , asked the lads who the **** was that bloke and they replied Lee Norfolk , played in the Ipswich team that beat us at Anfield the previous season .

We don't have the squad to compete in all the cup competitions. I'd rather go out straight away in this and have a proper crack at the FA Cup instead.
For a team like us, I think its better to dump the FA cup. In terms of the calendar, the mikey mouse cup is done and dusted before the Champs League and run in get serious. FA Cup games hurt you more at the business end of the season.

To be honest I'd be tempted to bomb straight out of the FA Cup too, although I'm sure not many will agree with me there.

It'd depend on where we are in the league and Champions League though.

How many of that Leicester squad will be involved against us at the weekend? Seemed to be a pretty strong side they had out against essentially our reserves (with a couple of older heads in the mix), and yet for the first half we made mugs of them....hard to believe that the subbing of one player (Phil) completely threw out our rhythm and we became so disjointed.

In terms of Liverpool, I imagine Ginny, Phil and (hopefully) Robertson will play. Henderson maybe, but I think he's still coming back to fitness so two starts in a week may not be right for him.

They rested most of their team too.

Look at the space Okazaki has, look at Henderson looks like he is out walking his dog ... this picture sums up why we are leaking in ****ing stupid goals week in week out

The problem is none of our midfielders are really defensively minded. Anyone thinking Can would have picked up that runner is kidding themselves.

We concede goals like this so much as no one ever tracks their runner properly.

That's immediately after a free kick ... lob it into the box, head it if down to the oncoming player .. I mean for ****s sake ... this picture makes my blood boil .. I hope Klopp goes through them for a shortcut ... Hendo needs to take a ****ing look at himself

I mean that 2nd half display was just shocking ... these shower of arseholes have no ****ing fight in them sometimes ...

If the defence had all pushed up together like they were supposed to (it was only Gomez who was playing ~4 of their players onside before the ball came back in) then we wouldn't even be talking about this. I don't blame Henderson there at all. I'm choosing to blame Klavan to be honest He should be organising it better and shouting to push out, but quite what Gomez was doing dropping back on his own I don't know
