We're lacking in some real leadership out there, not one leader on that pitch and I know that's not the first team but the same applies to the first team. We need 2 or 3 mentally and physically strong players, we've not had that for some time.

We have zero creativity either, no one playing just behind the forwards with any skills or forward vision bar Coutinho of course and he's off. So many things wrong with the team, makes me feel sad.

I don't think we have conceded two goals in a particularly familiar way. The first was because they had an extra man in the middle of the box which was tracked by the MF and the second was a wonder strike.

Conceding **** goals from set pieces is familiar territory for me. The second went in as I was typing but it's nice that other teams can really mix up the goals they score against us and not just rely on us to defend like ****s.

Seriously, who are we to turn our nose up at any cup?

On paper it looks like a good team. Good enough to put the Leicester reserve team to the sword.

But the performance as a team is woeful.

i must say i think Klopps body language is permeating throughout the team.

he has all animated in the technical area as usual and now he's sitting in the dugout saying nothing

Our team spirit is almost too good. We need a player or two who don't give a crap and want to shout at a few of the others. No-one seems to be afraid of having a bad game.

The only positive I can find is that Robertson looks competent.

I was going to same exactly the same. There's no one really having a go. It's as if mediocrity is acceptable. Not enough winners in the team

I'm trying to remain calm but this is beyond ****ing annoying now. I know it's 'only' the league cup but the same problems persist - we are woeful at the back and wasteful up front.

Fringe players like Flanagan I can accept being useless but Henderson as the 6 kills any rhythm in the midfield - his passing is always safe or behind the man.

We spent £40m on AOC - let that sink in - he had 9 months left on his contract. That £40m could have bought a proper centre back - this is his first start I know but I can see why Arsenal fans I know were laughing.

The worst thing about this is we'll probably do the same at the weekend. This is the first time in Klopps time here that we have a mini crisis. He needs to sort it out.

To me you could slate a lot of our players for playing it safe

Barring Robertson and Coutinho

Rest want too much time on the ball and too eager to pass sideways (responsibility)
