So we need a draw at Brighton to secure 4th, but a win could see us take 3rd?

We have the best manager. In terms of quality of football, we've been pushing City (I don't necessarily think we have the second best team, but we are getting there). Utd do have a better squad (strength in depth). We've lost 5 games - City, Utd, Spurs, Chelsea.... and Swansea (we also failed to beat Utd and Spurs).
Another MASSIVE game

Our game is all about pace and pressing/work rate and with no options on the bench and a tired squad, the work rate drops. We are also screwed if someone gets sent off. We don't have a less energetic Plan B.. Hopefully we win on Sunday and then are refreshed for the final.Originally posted by Lecter View PostAgreed
Our squad was thin anyway and with injuries picked up (and the sale of Coutinho) its thinner
We also look physically knackered and to me its been telling that when it gets to 60-70 minutes in the last few months we have dropped off the pace. A few times it hasnt affected the result
We've had a weeks rest and it would be nice to think that was enough but my feeling is come 70 minutes we will be running on fumes again and without the ability to make changes theres always that risk as with West Brom & Roma that we will concede
I said a few weeks back that despite many of us thinking the defence needs addressing again, the midfield and forward positions look equally if not more in need of an injection of bodies as the current back up players arent anywhere near the quality required. I wouldnt be adverse to Klopp spending the vast bulk of his money on forwards and attacking midfielders again

Is it mathematically possible for the top 4 to only lose 3 times between them? My brain hurts trying to work it outOriginally posted by Irishnev View Post
