Interesting to see Souness bring up Bailly's challenge on Milner in the box.......probably the only clear cut foul in the box for me today.
Handball one would probably be harsh, but it did travel a while.
Jurgen....I love you man, but that Mane one was never a pen."I will make the boys feel your support"

Much better 2nd half and could've got the draw but that two-goal head start we gave them cost us dearly. We really need to be able to defend better in these big away games. That's 14 goals conceded this season in 4 games away to City, Scum, Spurs and Arsenal. Not good enough.
With the CL Quarters coming up next month we need to fix this quick.

Yeah wasn't a pen looking at replay but we could have had one given at least. Handball wasn't pen either. Salah one was the one that should have been given .Originally posted by McDermotX View PostInteresting to see Souness bring up Bailly's challenge on Milner in the box.......probably the only clear cut foul in the box for me today.

I know we were well below our best but after we scored they immediately killed the game for fully five minutes. A fake injury, a sub that took forever, and the game never got into a rhythm after that with their continual stoppages. Absolutely ****ing infuriating. Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Trent had a mare and Lovren doing what Lovren does best... running out like a mad man, missing the ball and leaving big hole behind him. Those 2 tackles on Fellaini my god, he's brain dead.
Salah had his poorest game for us today, Young was rough house and did a number on him. When Salah doesn't click, we don't seem to click. Was a poor display from both teams, they had the first, we had the second but we created little or nothing.
Huge huge loss, 2nd is gone now I think.

......and the hand ball was definitely a penalty, he was a long way from the ball when it was crossed in. 100% deliberate handball
The blatant false injuries in their box after half clearing the ball where nothing short of a disgrace and part of their plan

We could be better at the dark arts of the game. Too many inexperienced players in our team. Helps to have the odd scumbag as well.Originally posted by Shaggy View PostI know we were well below our best but after we scored they immediately killed the game for fully five minutes. We can pick up certain players and say they could have done better, you always can, but today is was about Klopp. He served up exactly what everyone knew he would and Mourinho had an answer to it. You've got to do something a little different in games like this, anything, to invalidate the preparation of the opposition. It was far too easy for them first half.Trey Nyoni: countdown to stardom-2 years1year0.5 years

Coutinho is an excellent player on form, and he put in some brilliant performances for us this season, but he played a part in a few of our worse perfrmances this season like the 4-1 loss to Spurs, the nil all draw with West Brom at Anfield, the 1-1 against Burnley at Anfield, and when the Mancs parked the bus at Anfield for the 0-0. All games where we did well in terms of possession, but just could not score or score more than one.
Think it is more a case of the Mancs having their tactics work today and us not clicking, than it is one where Coutinho would have made the difference.I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.
