100%Originally posted by Shaggy View PostA City mate of mine was in corporate in the Main Stand. He said the fat men at the table next to him realised he was City and came over to his table, almost certainly charged up on coke, and got in his face calling him a "****ing Manc cunt". In hospitality ffs.
During the game he took his seat, cheered City on at one point and two of them climbed over three rows of seats to start on him.
I'm all for intimidating atmospheres but some of our lot have gone well overboard. Think it's gonna go off at their place - we need to make sure we behave ourselves.
And the press know it. Articles like the DM one I stopped reading above only throw buckets of fuel on the fire.
I'd say trouble on Tuesday is almost unavoidable now, and the Mail journal will be stood watching ready to let everyone know how outraged they are.
Clearly there have been some laws broken, but the response has been massively over the top. Honestly, I dont think the footage is all that bad.
Arrests needed to be made for anyone chucking missiles and if that is 50 or so people then so be it. But it was hardly a threatening military raid, it was over in minutes FFS.Modifying post.

The stuff that happened to their bus is something that's happened loads across Europe. It was OTT and deserves to be investigated. But it looked like there was loads of policing there, we did our bit as a club publicly to ask people to behave beforehand. I'm not sure how the club can be held accountable for the behaviour of some individuals that was totally out of their control?
Also City going public with their concerns in advance probably made twice as many people turn up. It backfired massively for them.

It's deeply unpleasant behaviour and the criticism is more than justified in my opinion.

What concerns me is United fans will join in on this, there will be some massive kick offs next week.Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."

Always, keep your face to the sun, and shadows will fall behind you.

I wanted more to be honest. A few bottles and cans thrown at the bus. Pah!
They should've gone full Eastern Euro on them and rocked the bus until it nearly tipped over."When a man insults my country I insult him, by taking his woman" Tony Yeboah
"looking through your posts since 2007 and what you have consistently written about my football team I have come to the conclusion that if you had 1 more brain cell you would be a plant .. your father was a hamster and your mother smells of elder berries, I fart in your general direction ..." Nicey

I don't think anyone is trying to minimise the incident however the reaction has been over the top as usual by the media.
I seriously hope they find the pricks who bottled the bus but you'd have thought the bus was completely smashed up, people injured and a full riot was in process.
I await the media saying Connor Mcgregor was the ring leader .Last edited by Leyton388; 06-04-18, 01:05 PM.

So potentially:
Back 5
Gini - Milner - AOC
Mane - Solanke - Firmino
Or, as Firmino has been mooted as a CAM:
Gini - Milner
Firmino
Mane - Solanke - AOCI saw a dead fish on the pavement and thought "what did you expect?"
There's no water round here stupid, should have stayed where it was wet
