We'll be ok if Can is fit again.

Can Milner Ox (Wijnaldum on bench again).

      DISALLOWED GOAL

      Liverpool 3-0 Man City

Ooooohhh! Leroy Sane is not offside there - flagged off, but on - as he puts over a cross which is converted by Gabriel Jesus.

Flash back to the fact that Mo Salah was offside when he opened the scoring. Both very tight calls, but that could have been a big moment...
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

We were pretty damn good tonight. We got a few calls in our favour for once which was welcome. At times we over complicate and get ourselves in trouble. But it worked in our favour. Some immense performances out there. Gutted about hendo, that's because we faffed about with it. He's a massive loss.

Rest all the forward players and midfield bar hendo versus Everton? We need the energy on Tuesday or it's for nowt. I'd happily throw the derby, it means nothing at this stage of the season. Just hope we have enough in the squad to cover the injuries that are starting to tot up. Reds!

Huge credit to the entire team and manager.
That was deffo what impressed me as well , last time we played them we didn't hold out at all.

Just to underline how good that was. If we score at the Etihad they need five. Hoping for a good ref and praying to Allah (that's right one, isn't it?) that Salah is back to add to his 38th. No way Salah plays against those bitter yard dogs.

Surprised how reserved Klopp has been in this post match interview. I'd be pissed off about scheduling for the Everton game too though.

To be fair it was onside. Virgil was aware and turned off, so we don't know what would have happened if the play was live.

I'd definitely understand fielding a sub strength team for that fixture. Our squad is paper thin and we're suffering injuries as is. Making a fair few changes for the Everton game is a must IMO.

AOC saying he's never seen anything like Anfield tonight.

What ? Not even at the Emirates

Great performance - we were never going to be able to keep up the energy levels needed to keep City on the back foot for 90 mins. The defensive display in the second half was just as good as the attacking display in the first - yes we could have kept the ball better but to keep that City side at bay with zero shots on target is some achievement - well done boys

That was brilliant. The whole team, Klopp, the fans, Est, everyone was brilliant today.

They are capable of scoring five but they had zero shots on target today so..

I'm worried that we're leaning on Salah a bit too much in the same way we did with Mane last season.

You passed on the gym so

Just back from the pub, great atmosphere there and took it easy with a pint in each half. I don’t think i’m cut out for football sometimes and that’s why I watch most games at home because I bottle most of the madness in so not to scare my kids

First half we were brilliant - superb to a man and that’s what I had hoped for but didn’t think we could achieve. Second half we rode our luck and my insanity had me livid at 3 nil up and not holding on to the ball and giving it away cheaply. We were casual in possession underhitting passes and dithering on the ball. Hopefully we were saving ourselves for Everton

We need an away goal now because even though we are such in the driving seat on their day City can thump anyone and without Salah (?) we are stretched up front.

                        Exhale......wow

Right now we go to the pit of misery at the weekend. Let's smash the bitter cunts.

Klopp wasn't too happy about the second half and the deep defending and also giving the ball away. Also hints at lots of changes vs Everton.
                              Are we winning?
