Two games against City this year where we went in as the underdog and two games where we smashed them."That's how I found myself on the Kop that day I had my blue-and-white scarf safely tucked away inside my coat as I listened to Liverpool songs and swayed with the masses.
Then City scored and I screeched and this big bloke, a Liverpool supporter, made towards me and I thought he was going to throttle me. But he just pulled my scarf from under my coat so it lay on the outside, and said: "You should always be proud of your colours, lad."

Didn’t think we had that in us.
Huge credit to the entire team and manager.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Glad I started a match thread now!
What a brilliant performance though, superb to a man.
Milner, TAA and Robertson were the stand outs. Who would have thought - a City reject, a product of the academy and a player from a relegated team being the top players in a Champions League Quarter Final.
Take a bow gentlemen

What a result.
Every player can be proud of their performance tonight.
Saw two very different Liverpool teams tonight. The one that can go toe to toe with the best and blow them away, and one that could soak up constant pressure and not crack.I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

Listen to these bitter ****s (from BBC match feed) -
Ben: I think we should be mindful about what happened to Man City on the way into the ground. No wonder they aren’t in their grove. It’s disgusting what’s happened
Mike: Wonder how much the events before the game affected City's first half performance? You could stop this by calling the game off and playing it at a neutral venue.
