The only reason for Gomez staying is he might have a faint hope of being a CB for us. Hopefully Clyne can stay fit next year to be back up to Trent.

I don't really know what to make of that game to be honest.

It'd be easy for me to jump on Gomez and Moreno's backs, but they've been lacking game time recently. I just think we were off it today, whatever reasons they may be.

He generally doesn't know when to come and when to stay. And when he does make a decision, whether it's right or wrong, he often lacks belief, changes his mind, reverses direction or otherwise fannies about. He's had enough time now, he's not a latter day disguised De Gea, he is himself and he's not good enough to be our number one. I don't really know what else to say about Karius other than he's not quite as bad as Mignolet, thank god. But that's like being grateful for only having crabs and not the clap.

Thought he had a decent game again today myself. Can't blame him for either goal, made a couple of very important saves, distribution was pretty good. Today was all about full-backs, with a cameo from bad-lovren for the second goal.

I used to think he would, but the kind of mistakes he keeps making would be even more of a liability at centre-half than at full-back. Worrying.

That's over a month since our full-backs started a game for us. The argument could be made that when they're given a chance, they need to take it, but still, we're away from home against a side fighting for their lives.

Nothing is made of our midfield though. Henderson and Wijnaldum didn't offer much either way in terms of our tempo and so forth. Let's pick on Gomez, Moreno and Ings though. Let's sell them all, and then think we only need 3-4 players in the summer.

It's not personal. They are being targeted because they are not even good enough as cover.

Gini is a good squad player IMO. Moreno is horrific and needs to be sold. Gomez isn't a RB but IMO not sure if he will cut it at CB but he will get time either on the bench on a loan move. Our squad is very poor all round but i'm sure it will be addressed in the summer.

Squad is so so poor that we've been fighting for second and are in the CL semi finals. You are very extreme with your analysis of games.

We've ****ed up because we were sloppy and were on the wrong end of a few refereeing decisions. That's it.

I don't he was as bad as Moreno or Gomez today but that's damning by faint praise. It's more of a general thing although as usual he didn't show any command of his area. I think his distribution is average - not brilliant. I can't remember any particular saves he made there that I wouldn't expect any average keeper to get but I'd have to watch it again - I admit that I'm prejudiced against him now and am just waiting for his mistakes!
