If we're good enough to win this, we're good enough to defend a 5-2 lead in Rome. That was an oddly deflating ending to a hilariously brilliant game, but while the idea of having a dead rubber second leg in a CL semi final was fun, that was still a great night's work.

I hope (and expect) that the team will use annoyance at conceding those goals as real motivation to focus on getting 3 points at the weekend and closing this out next week. Terrible news about Ox though, we really cannot afford another injury now.

Pretty much mate. When the Mancs were there their police escort got ambushed (how convenient) and they had maniacs getting on the coaches. 5000 being checked for the name on ticket to match ID is going to be carnage as well, loads go on someone else’s ticket. That’s if they don’t just baton fans through the turnstiles like last time. A Barca fans report was put on RAWK from when they played a few weeks back and it was pretty grim reading, this will be x100 given the occasion, the fact they despise, Barca only took about 300 etc.

Given the legitimate fears many have, might it be wise for fans/SOS to organize some sort of awareness effort in advance of the game on social media etc. to ensure that the various authorities that have 'question marks' over them know in advance they will be held to higher scrutiny than usual? It might also liven Uefa up a little in a similar regard, although they practically endorse racism so GBH/manslaughter isn't too big a leap.

Fans having a go at one another is one thing but risible thugs who want to actually kill people, and possibly being aided by officialdom in doing so, is quite another.
