The guy who stabbed the Leeds fan in Istanbul was a Besiktas supporter. The incident was not football related apparently as the Leeds guy started on a bunch of bye standers and allegedly wiped his arse on the country’s flag. I went out to Istanbul to watch us play galatasaray years ago and their fans greeted us at the airport with..... flowers.

absolutely no cover for midfield or forwards, we keep losing our shape when subs are made, and the confidence the oppo getwith mo coming off evident at city home, then weekend and last night. Cant help but feel the tie would have been over if he had stayed on

No. His contract with hull is until the end of May. I don't think there is an exit clause.

Still critical, by all accounts.

A 53-year-old Irish man remains in a critical condition following an assault before Liverpool's Champions League semi-final against Roma at Anfield last night.

Sean Cox from Co Meath is currently being treated at Walton Neurological Centre. Merseyside Police said he had been attacked near the football ground with a belt and suffered a head injury.
