It still hasn't hlt home we are in the final of the Champions League. I feel pretty numb to be honest but I'm sure over the coming days it will sink in.

He had one good save I will grant him that, but he looks terrible at the Dzeko goal, he can flat handed put a ball back in to the box like that - especially when the shot wasn't particularly hard or good. And let's not forget that penalty that got wrongly offsided, but he came out absolutly headless. There were more mistakes in the game, and generally just to many IMO.

And generally there are to many situations he doesn't handle all that well with some weird decisions.

If anything VAR takes away their two pens and gets the tackle on mane put to a red as you say. There were a few other pen decisions that could have gone for them, but an absolute stick on for Mane also.

He's forgetting the triple punishment rule has been relaxed. Karius would have been booked for that if a penalty was given. Ultimately they had a similar number of parp calls for them as against between the two legs. About 90% of the goals were scored by us, the ref, and the footballing Gods. They were rightly defeated and the aggregate scoreline flatters them massively.

And if tonight's result wasn't goodf enough, I asked Mrs Venton if I could have a glass of her wine at half time as I'd finished mine and she refused citing greater need, but now she's had an allergic reaction to it and she's sneezing and spluttering away and gone all puffed up. Justice.

People's expectations of keepers are ridiculous - Karius was every bit as good as Allison over the two legs, if not better. Both made cringeworthy errors, but who else do you sign that is guaranteed to be better?

And I'm not having the **** performance stuff either. I thought we were great tonight. We weathered the storm, took a 2-1 lead into half time, and if the ref hadn't given them a laughable penalty at the end we'd turned a tricky tie into a comfortable victory. No fear for the final at all. Let's get into them.
