People's expectations of keepers are ridiculous - Karius was every bit as good as Allison over the two legs, if not better. Both made cringeworthy errors, but who else do you sign that is guaranteed to be better?

And I'm not having the **** performance stuff either. I thought we were great tonight. We weathered the storm, took a 2-1 lead into half time, and if the ref hadn't given them a laughable penalty at the end we'd turned a tricky tie into a comfortable victory. No fear for the final at all. Let's get into them.

Yup agreed, I thought Karius was very good. He was unlucky to knock the ball to Dzeko who should have been marked better.

I don't even think it was a penalty as the attacker was already going down before he hit Karius' arms (thankfully it was called offside).

He was dominant in the air and made a couple of good stops. His kicking (bar one spoon!) was also very good.

If anything VAR takes away their two pens and gets the tackle on mane put to a red as you say. There were a few other pen decisions that could have gone for them, but an absolute stick on for Mane also.

Tancredi Palmeri the journo was also going on about red cards and penalties also blindly ignoring they got lucky first leg with Milners "handball" and also Klavens "handball" 2nd leg, there was also a stone wall penalty on Mane not given and as well as the tackle on Mane there was a shocking tackle on Salah by De Rossi that I thought could have been a red also

How much do you think the performance was tiredness and how much was the occasion getting to people? The latter to me is a potential problem heading to the final, as we have very little experience at this level compared to Real Madrid
