I like Lallana and he was the only option from the bench, but he was lacking in fitness and he didn't really offer a threat.Originally posted by Phoenix07 View Post
If Salah stays on the pitch, we win that game IMO.
When Lallana came it , it was like playing with 10 men. He's been injured for most of the season, and we had no other options to bring on. Real Madrid could commit more men forward, with only Mane to fear, as Firmino was dropping too deep as well. Before that injury, they had another body to consider, but after that, they didn't have to worry too much. The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

We had a lot of good performances. Henderson, Milner and Gini were chasing shadows a bit, but they stuck in well.Originally posted by foresterbloke View PostSo who was our man of the match?
I reckon it was Lovren, Mane or Robbo. They were excellent today.
Special mention to Wijnaldum too.
I wonder how we'd have done with Oxlade in the team today?
Robbo, Lovren, VVD, Gini and Mane all played really well.
Hendo, Milner did ok. Trent did quite well.
Bobby a bit off his best once Mo went off. Lallana didn’t look fit. Salah looked in. The mood until Ramos took him out.
And Karius............. no words for that performance.Modifying post.

Deflated. Feel sorry for Karius. It’s a shame for Mo and the rest of the team. It feels bad that Klopp’s final woes extend to six finals and that we have had such **** luck the past several years but that’s life. The team will learn from this, and the club is in a position of strength. We will improve our squad this summer. It’s been a fun ride. Time to move on.

Did an excellent job and didn't look out of his depth at any stage of the game.
He was probably our best player, got up and down a lot, got involved in attacks, one great goal saving challenge.
