Told them that they weren't even a "maghullyback" and were a bumpkin idiot from Lydiate.

Then won a bet that I lived closer to the ground than them.
Lydiate that's barely a place, nevermind a place in Liverpool
    Really?

I always find it amusing that the ‘wool’ tag only fits supporters and not the multinational players that they support. Large swathes of the global fanbase are built upon the players across generations that came in from further afield than the city from which the club (and all clubs for that matter) are based. There seems to be zero issues with this representation among the ‘diehards’.

Or that many of the diehards don't have to go too far back in their own family trees to find Welsh, Scots or Irish blood.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

I think "wool" is only "correctly" used about people from cheshire and old lancashire.

So St Helens, Widnes and Runcorn?

I was born in Whiston, which is Merseyside, but does that make you Scouse??

I’ve heard people from Skem call themselves scousers and that’s basically a suburb of Wigan!

Folk from the Wirral are posh scousers like my Gran.

And If you are from Warrington you are basically a Manc aren’t you?
We are here for a good time not a long time....

Warrington is where you have to get your visa stamped and top up any jabs.

You couldn't right it but the area of Warrington where he comes from is Woolston
Oh triffic......so while you're up the road jollying it up, it's touch your toes time for Rodney

I thought he was from Padgate, but maybe that was the team he played for before joining Liverpool.

They’re right next to each other. I’m not even sure where the boundary is, they just merge together.

Apart from the one dilly dally in the area thought he was very good in the Arsenal game. That move down the left where he played the outside of the foot pass to Mo was special and he was involved in the build up in our own half leading up to it. Plus the quick throw in, not his usual pace

I don't think Curtis has been the same since that injury lay off this season. A real pity because he was in a purple patch before it

He seems to have a lot of bad luck with timing. Either picking up an injury, earlier in his career, when first choice players get injured and misses the chance to play more games or gets injured just as he’s getting a run and showing his best form.
