I think City will tear us a new one if we go in with Macca in the DM. My fear is we have decided to adapt the players we do have. Macca is too small and not a ball winner. Hopefully Gravenberch will adapt and play there,but he looks to be playing the same position as Jones and Macca on the left. Seems a bit bizarre to me.

I am not sold on Endo at all (yet)... But he is clearly not in Klopps mind as the main DM.

Not saying they could not do so, but think we will do alright against them this season in the head to heads.


Think if we get a freak heavy loss it might be to Brighton again, but our extra mobility in the middle this season is already making a big difference against teams that imo would have caused far more problems had we last season's players.


The results against Villa, Wolves and West Ham were great confidence boosters for me.


The game against Newcastle showed we have that bit of grit coming back into the team.

Yes City have a brilliant team of players, but they are one of the few teams that will come at us in a punch for punch manner and I always feel that we have a good chance against that sort of team no matter how good.

City I would be more confident of getting a result against that say a Real Madrid or Napoli type team even though City have better quality in depth than either.

Agreed. I’d be happy with Curtis and Dom as the double pivot and Gomez at RB.

Solid in defence and still has the skill and vision to play a killer ball forward.
