As a Club we need to get back to the Paisley way of retiring players from the first 11 just before they NEED to be dropped/they become unreliable fitness-wise. I suspect Ali is drifting into that window, because of fitness issues.

As a Club we need to get back to the Paisley way of retiring players from the first 11 just before they NEED to be dropped/they become unreliable fitness-wise. I suspect Ali is drifting into that window, because of fitness issues.

I agree, but we're coming up against some better outfits now, so having Alisson there but be better.

I thought that Georgian fella* would spend the season at Brighton to get to grips with the league but i actually think he'll be integrated with the squad and Caoimhin will be let go this year, so this will be good for bucking his value up, should it go well.

Kelleher is an awesome goalie. And that's saying something when you have someone like Alisson's boots to fill. I have a horrible feeling Alisson is headed toward being a regular crock anyway which is a shame.

Ali is the best GK in the world - of course he will be missed but given Kev’s recent form I’m less worried

Kelleher is an awesome goalie. And that's saying something when you have someone like Alisson's boots to fill. I have a horrible feeling Alisson is headed toward being a regular crock anyway which is a shame.

Kelleher isn’t Alisson but he has shown himself to be a very able deputy and is arguably more comfortable with the ball at his feet. Statistically he was a top 5 PL GK last season and he clearly wants a top job elsewhere, great opportunity for him now
